This trick is a semi-duplication exploit which allows you to take items from the advanced training "cyber map" rooms into the main game. I'd imagine a glitchless any% run would consider these exploits against the rules, whereas in a 100% speedrun w/glitches it may not matter and may actually prove beneficial if it speeds up the acquisition of certain items that are otherwise hard to obtain and/or are more random drop oriented. I'd recommend checking with said communities to determine what they consider allowed or not depending on which type of run you're going for. I do not claim to have discovered most of the exploits herein I'm just attempting to aggregate exploits in one spot, so that anyone can access them and not have to risk fathoming the depths of google, discussion pages, reddit posts etc.Īside from that, the tricks may be considered exploits in the eyes of speedrunner communities, especially in the instance of the second trick as it involves intentionally bypassing/breaking a specific event trigger to repeat an action you're only supposed to do once.
